Salesperson- Cheddar, Somerset.

JTS is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience. We serve the leisure and

hospitality industry across the South-West, Midlands, and Berkshire and specialize in

providing snacks, sundries, tableware, and barware, delivering directly to the customers’

doors.

JTS is actively seeking new colleagues to enhance our mobile sales team Don’t be put off if

you have no prior sales experience – a smile, willingness to learn, and a friendly personality

go a long way.

We are more interested to know whether you are the type of person who thrives on variety

and would enjoy the challenge of driving to a dedicated geographic area each day, to sell a

wide range of products and deliver pre-orders to your own customer base.

The Role:

Location:  12 Cheddar Business Park, Cheddar BS27 3EB.  Must be able to commute or relocate before starting.

Sales and Deliveries: You’ll be responsible for selling JTS’s extensive product range and

delivering pre-orders to your assigned customers. You will be using our handheld invoicing

system to generate invoices and process customer payments while out in the field, cash

handling and balancing end of day reporting. Full training will be given.

Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are essential. You’ll get to know your

customers well, identify selling opportunities, and exceed sales targets.

Van Management: You’ll control all aspects of stock management of many date sensitive

products and also manage the organisation of your own fully stocked one stop shop - a 3.5-

tonne racked box van.

Your Skills and Qualities:

Driving License: You must have a full clean driving license.

Communication Skills: Good communication skills are crucial. Interacting with the public

and customers all day long can require a sense of humour!

Physical Demands: The role involves physical work, so being able to manage this is crucial.

Reliability and flexibility: You must be smart, friendly, and reliable. The mobile nature of

the role can require a little flexibility on occasions.

Team Player: While you’ll work alone, being a good team player within the wider JTS team

is essential.

Average Earnings: Average annual earnings range from £23,930.00 to £28,000.00.

Hours: The position is full time working an average 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Individual day lengths may vary due to the distances travelled and the mobile nature of this

role- some flexibility is necessary.

Bonuses and Commission: Bonuses and commission are performance-related and can

exceed the average range for top-performing sales colleagues.
