Sun, Swings & Shenanigans at the Jim Hacking Memorial Golf Day 2025

What a day! The sun shone, the golfers (mostly) behaved, and the laughs were loud as we all celebrated another brilliant Golf Day in memory of our much-missed friend and former Sun Valley Nut Co. Legend, Jim Hacking.

As always, the golf ranged from surprisingly impressive to questionably creative, but somehow Simon Hann, the Director here at JTS, managed to walk away with the prestigious Jim Hacking Cup. Suspicious? Maybe. Rigged? Probably not. That being said, we will be keeping a watchful eye on him next year!

When the clubs were down, the party picked up – thanks to a brilliant set from Randomly Stealing Vegetables, led by none other than fellow JTS Director, Tris Hann. Who knew he could sing as well as sell scratchings?

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who travelled far and wide to be a part of the day, to our brilliant sponsors and suppliers who kept us going, and to everyone who donated. We raised an incredible £3,359.76 for the Brain Tumour Charity.

Jim would have absolutely loved it – good friends, golf, a crisp pint and plenty of banter. Same time next year?
